Robin Lefkowitz brings nearly four decades of banking, business development, and financial leadership experience to the Richmond University Medical Center Board of Trustees. She currently serves as First Senior Vice President and Head of New York Retail and Business Development for Columbia Bank New Jersey, where she oversees strategic growth initiatives and community banking efforts throughout the region.
A dedicated supporter of Richmond University Medical Center for more than a decade, Lefkowitz previously served on the Board of Directors of the Richmond University Medical Center Foundation, providing leadership and guidance in support of the hospital’s mission and philanthropic goals. Her longstanding commitment to healthcare and community engagement has made her a valued advocate for RUMC and the patients it serves.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Lefkowitz moved to Staten Island with her husband, Danny, in 1988 and has been actively involved in the local community ever since. As a longtime North Shore resident of St. George, she has developed strong relationships across Staten Island’s business, civic and nonprofit sectors and is deeply committed to enhancing the quality of life for community residents.
Lefkowitz earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Economics from Brooklyn College and a Master of Business Administration degree from Wagner College. Outside of her professional and community activities, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, especially her grandson.
As a member of the Richmond University Medical Center Board of Trustees, Lefkowitz contributes her extensive financial expertise, strategic perspective, and deep community connections to support the organization’s ongoing growth and commitment to exceptional patient care.
