Loren Harris, MD, FACS, FCCP, received his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine in 1987, where he graduated in the top 10 percent of his class and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He then completed his training in General and Cardiothoracic Surgery at New York University Medical Center and has been in clinical practice for over 20 years. He specializes in minimally invasive surgery using the latest robotic techniques for both benign and malignant diseases of the lung, esophagus, and mediastinum, which reduce post-operative pain and hospital stay while improving overall outcomes.
