Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC)
Join the Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC)
At Richmond University Medical Center (RUMC), every voice counts. The Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) brings together patients, family members, and staff to work collaboratively to enhance the care experience for all who enter our hospital.
Some of the most meaningful improvements come from those who have experienced care firsthand. Whether you are a patient or supporting a loved one, your insights help us focus on what matters most so we can provide care that is clinically strong and also compassionate, respectful, and responsive to individual needs.
What You Can Expect as a PFAC Member
PFAC membership connects you with a community committed to improving care through partnership. Meetings are held monthly and typically last one hour, making it easy to participate while making a meaningful impact. As a member, you will have opportunities to:
- Share your experiences: Your perspective helps inform how we serve our community.
- Influence decisions: Provide input on hospital policies, services, and priorities to strengthen patient and family centered care.
- Collaborate with staff: Work alongside team members who value listening and continuous improvement.
