Dr. Lachenpa is a board-certified pediatrician with a special focus on pediatrics and adolescent medicine. She attended medical school at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences, Gangtok, Sikkim, India and completed her residency at BronxCare Health System.
As a General Pediatrician Dr. Lachenpa works with a strong focus on continuity of care from the newborn period through adolescence. She is passionate about preventive care, helping children thrive in every stage of development, and committed to supporting the emotional well-being of children. Dr. Lachenpa partners closely with families to support children’s growth and development, emphasizing early guidance, healthy habits, and proactive care to promote lifelong wellness. She aims to create a familiar, safe, supportive environment rooted in trust, where families feel comfortable sharing concerns and confident in the care their children receive. Outside of work, Dr. Lachenpa is a full-time mother to a toddler and loves spending time with her. She also enjoys visiting different countries and learning about their culture and foods. Spending time with family and friends helps her to recharge and maintain balance in her life.
Dr. Lachenpa is fluent in English, Hindi, and Nepali.
