Resident Life/Wellness Activities:
At RUMC, we believe that wellness is an essential part of residency training. Beyond clinical education, we are committed to creating a supportive and enjoyable environment where our residents can recharge, connect, and celebrate milestones together. Our program has a dedicated Wellness Chief who helps plan and coordinate activities throughout the year. Some Wellness events our residents look forward include:
- End-of-year parties and holiday celebrations
- Graduation festivities for our graduating class
- Outdoor activities and team-building events
- Surprise birthday celebrations
- Spa and relaxation days

These gatherings not only provide opportunities to unwind but also strengthen the bonds within our residency family. We are proud of the vibrant, supportive community our residents have built; one that makes residency both rewarding and memorable.

Board Preparation:
A key objective of our residency is first-attempt success on the ABIM certification examination. To support this, we offer targeted board review courses during PGY-3 year, specifically designed to prepare residents for the American Board of Internal Medicine Certification Examination.
