Dr. Fernandez received his undergraduate education from The Johns Hopkins University where he majored in Neuroscience and minored in Economics. Subsequently, he attended NYU MD/MBA dual degree program prior to completing residency in Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai Health System. After completion of his residency, Dr. Fernandez practiced Emergency Medicine in New York City. During this time he became involved in hospital administration. He worked on numerous projects including revenue cycle management, billing integrity, denials management, patient flow and length of stay. During his free time he likes to play golf and tennis as well as spending time with his family.
