Physician assistant specialties include critical care, which involves post surgical care, and subspecialty care, which includes neurosurgery and orthopedic surgery.
Richmond University Medical Center has a state-of-the-art cystoscopy suite for performing lithotripsy cases. We perform over 7,000 endoscopies every year and are now currently completing a new Ambulatory Services Project with six new endoscopy suites and new Pre-Admission Testing offices.
In order to offer the best surgical care possible, the Richmond University Medical Center team performs a thorough evaluation of every patient. This can include allergy information, current medications, and family medical history. In some cases, blood tests and x-rays may also be performed.
